Have you heard of the word anachronism? It’s a Greek word meaning, against time. I am not an expert or much less a professional when it comes to photography. I love what I do. It gives me joy to be able to capture something and be able to relay a feeling whether it be nostalgia, joy, sadness or much better a feeling of belonging or being in the present.

I do my best to make everyday an adventure. I notice the old barns, the horses grazing the field, the reflections of the trees in the lake and the hustle and bustle of life around me. Phones in hand, rushing to get to work and the quaint and rustic places I am fortunate to live and work at. It’s like bringing the old and living with the new…

Like a call from the past and a witness to the future.

A beautiful reminder of who we’ve become, what has changed, and what has remained the same.
